We are excited to announce our newest venture, 85 Green!
85 Green is a series of initiatives that will promote nutritional literacy and help us learn and grow together toward a more sustainable community.
The 85 Green Learning Garden is a space where people can come together to plant and care for vegetables, while building strong social ties. Over the summer, community members of all ages and backgrounds will have the opportunity to participate through programs, events, and hands-on learning and activities.
Honey bees provide crucial pollination services for both edible and non-edible plants in our community and our world. Two hives are located on the green roof at Central Library, visible from the second floor.
We’re working on plans for 85 Green now and would love your support. A donation of any size will help us to purchase tools, plants, soil, storage containers and more.
Online donations can be made using the form below, or you can click here for other ways to donate.
